Rare Diseases International (RDI) is the global alliance of people living with a rare disease of all nationalities across all rare diseases. RDI’s mission is to be a strong common voice on behalf of rare disease patients around the world, to advocate for rare diseases as an international public health priority and to represent its members and enhance their capacities. RDI has more than 100 member organizations from 48 countries, that in turn represent rare disease patient groups in more than 150 countries worldwide.
Throughout a lifetime, Persons Living with a Rare Disease (PLWRD) and their families face multiple forms of social discrimination, as well as common challenges in accessing diagnosis and care.
As an alliance, RDI works to ensure greater equity for all Persons Living with a Rare Disease and their loved ones across the globe.
The Cutaneous Lymphoma Foundation is a full member of the Rare Diseases International (RDI) alliance. By being a part of this global community of rare disease organizations, the Foundation is able to expand our reach on behalf of the cutaneous lymphoma community we serve. It allows us to amplify your voice by contributing to the RDI's international policy, programs and global initiatives.
Through our membership, we are represented at key international institutions and on ground-breaking rare disease collaborations with the United Nations, World Health Organization, International Rare Diseases Research Consortium and other global partnerships.
