The Cutaneous Lymphoma Foundation strongly believes in the power of the collective voice to influence policy makers in matters that impact the care and quality of life of those living with rare and/or chronic diseases, particularly cutaneous lymphoma. Staying aware of other advocacy coalitions and their actions helps keep us abreast of issues that may affect our community. To include our voice to an action that can benefit our community, we will add the Foundation's name as a signer on letters to policy makers.
For these reasons, we joined other patient advocacy organizations to send a patient community letter to the Senate and Congress, pushing for legislative action to make medicines more accessible during the coronavirus/COVID-19 public health crisis.
