Marianne is an Adult Nurse Practitioner, specializing in advanced practice dermatology in academic settings for greater than 25 years. She earned her undergraduate at Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing, and Northeastern University, both in Boston. Her Master’s in Primary Health Nursing and Adult Nurse Practitioner degree were earned at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. 

Since 2000, Marianne has practiced at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston focusing on clinical care and research of patients with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. Marianne has lectured extensively on cutaneous oncology topics both locally and nationally. Over the past years, she has dedicated both time and effort toward the important goal of building strategic educational alliances between oncology and dermatology nursing groups. Marianne has served as a Board Member and President of the Dermatology Nurses' Association (DNA). She continues her work with the DNA as she serves as a peer reviewer for the Journal of Dermatology Nursing (JDNA). She has also authored numerous articles and book chapters on dermatology and cutaneous oncology related topics. 

As a Board Member, Marianne participates in patient educational events, and communicates her experiences in treating common aspects associated with cutaneous lymphoma – such as persistent itch, available medical treatments and managing emotional well-being.
